Eastside Field Trip - Humble Design

NAPO Michigan members visited Humble Design in Southfield to learn more about the nonprofit’s mission and impact. Executive Director Chris Tull shared how Humble Design works with community partners, volunteers, and donors to furnish welcoming homes for individuals and families transitioning out of homelessness.

Westside Field Trip - Goodwill

NAPO Michigan members took part in a Westside field trip to Goodwill, providing an opportunity to connect, learn, and explore the organization’s role in the local community. The visit offered members a behind-the-scenes perspective while strengthening connections between professional organizers and community organizations.

Boys & Girls Club - Holland

NAPO Michigan members visited the Boys & Girls Club in Holland as part of the chapter’s continued community involvement. The visit brought local professional organizers together in support of an organization dedicated to providing programs, resources, and opportunities for area youth.

GO Month


In celebration of GO Month, NAPO Michigan members volunteered their organizing expertise at the OPC Social & Activity Center in Rochester, Michigan. In just four hours, the team transformed the center’s storage garage, clearing an entire truckload and creating a cleaner, more functional space for this vibrant 50+ community.

Downsizing & Organizing with Leigh MacCready


NAPO Michigan is proud to feature our Director of Professional Development and former NAPO Michigan President Leigh MacCready of Re-Nest in Jackson, Michigan.  Leigh has partnered with Vista Grande Villa, a great senior living community (also in Jackson, Michigan) to create this informative and helpful video.  This is a good explanation of what Re-Nest does when a senior wants help downsizing and moving.
