Backsliding is a frequent and often frustrating challenge for our clients, particularly those struggling with compulsive buying and other forms of acquiring. This presentation will deepen your understanding of the range of acquiring behaviors as well as some of the contributing factors. Participants will gain practical strategies for recognizing, preventing, and responding to backsliding when it occurs, as well as ways of framing setbacks that foster resilience and progress in client work.
