As organizers, we’ve all encountered the unexpected while on the job. This presentation tells the story of how a routine organizing project evolved into uncovering potential financial overreach involving a client’s estate. Join organizer and NAPO member, Leigh MacCready, as she shares her journey from residential organizer to investigator, resource facilitator, and advocate for her client’s end-of-life wishes.

About the Presenter

Leigh MacCready, owner of Re-Nest LLC, has been transforming living spaces to enhance both function and aesthetics since 2012. She specializes in working with seniors to create thoughtful space plans, downsize belongings, and smoothly transition into senior living communities.

She served as the President of NAPO Michigan from 2016 to 2019. During her tenure, the Michigan Chapter was honored with the Chapter of the Year Award in 2019, recognizing the hard work and dedication of its members to the organizing profession, the chapter, and the state of Michigan.
