As a former newspaper photographer & editor (30+ years), I now spend a lot more time editing rooms than pictures. I help clients visualize potential, clear the logjams and sort the forest from the trees. (And yes, I love metaphors.)
I love working with people ready to embrace change, whether transitioning to a new home or transforming an existing one into a more organized and functional space.
I make every effort to be eco-friendly and find creative, resourceful ways to re-purpose, recycle or donate items as we lighten your load and de-stress your mess. It is my joy to help you find yours in whatever area of the home you find overwhelming.
In November 2015, I expanded my repertoire to include an 18-month project with a small manufacturing business client where I got to use my power tools as well as my organizing skills, and to partner with a fellow NAPO MI organizer on the job.
I am a very active member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) Michigan Chapter and served on the board from October 2014 - May 2019 as Director of Professional Development.
I coordinated continuing education for our chapter by planning programs & finding speakers for our monthly meetings. To enhance that effort, I've attended three NAPO national conferences: Atlanta in 2016, Pittsburgh in 2017 and the Chicago area (St. Charles) in April 2018 to continue professional development efforts for both our chapter and myself.
I enjoy perpetual learning in the organizing and productivity industry through books, conferences, webinars, audio recordings and networking.
In December 2016 I earned the Residential Specialist and Workplace Specialist certificates from NAPO University, and the Life Transitions Specialist certificate in August 2018. In July 2018 I became a NAPO Golden Circle member, celebrating five years in business.
I now specialize in working with seniors as residential clients, and small team projects for business clients.
