Obstacles in Organizing the Anxious Client

Many clients hire an organizer because they are overwhelmed with their stuff and are unable to make decisions. Unless we inquire about brain-based conditions, we may not know that this client is dealing with anxiety. This program is about how to recognize (not diagnose) that someone may have anxiety and how you as an organizer can help them through the organizing process so they can reach their goals.
Meet the Presenter
Dr. Hasti Ashtiani Raveau
Dr. Hasti Ashtiani Raveau is a fully licensed pediatric clinical psychologist, and the founder and clinical director of Mala Child and Family Institute. Dr. Raveau has expertise in helping kids, teens, and adults improve their lives through evidence-based, cutting edge psychological treatment. She specializes in helping her patients overcome anxiety, depression, trauma, school and peer related challenges, neurodiversity such as ADHD, parenting stress, and family level difficulties.
She also specializes in providing training and supervision to students, interns, and mental health professionals who are aiming to specialize in working with children and families, and has published research in leading scientific journals on best practices in the field.
Dr. Raveau has worked in premier hospital systems (Detroit Children's of Michigan & University of Michigan Dept. of Psychiatry), outpatient psychiatric settings (University Center for the Child and Family - University or Michigan, Wayne State University Psychological Clinic, and General Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine Clinic - Children’s of Michigan) and schools.

Meeting Cost
