Getting Started with Digital Organizing

We live in a digital age. All the behaviors and practices we see in the physical world with collecting and gathering of stuff happens with information also. And it's more than just files and photos - there's a need for digital organizing when it comes to email, contacts, and content. So how do you get started adding digital organizing to your services? What if you're just interested in getting organized yourself? What steps should you take? Join us for this informational presentation on Getting Started with Digital Organizing to learn more.

Together we will:

  • Explore the differences between digital organizing and physical organizing
  • Define digital productivity
  • Learn the important aspects of offering digital organizing and productivity services
  • Discuss why organizing your computer files is important
  • Discover the 4 steps to setting up an organized digital file system
  • Learn the A.R.T of Email Management
  • Review apps and tools you can use to get and stay organized

About the Presenter


April Merrit created Ilios Digital Organizing to blend her love of order with her training as a librarian. She is passionate about making your hectic life simpler and smoother through organizing, with a focus on cutting through your computer and paper clutter. Her goal is always to help you find more time for joy.


A speaker at the local and national level, April's clients describe her as interactive, patient, and life-changing. When she's not helping others get organized, April finds joy in organizing her own life, annoying her cats with corporal cuddling, and being creative through writing and crafts.

Zoom Only Meeting

We will be running this month's meeting virtually via Zoom.  Members: keep an eye on your email inbox for the Zoom invitation which will be sent no later than Tuesday, 11/17/20. 

Meeting Cost

Attendance at chapter meetings is a benefit of membership for Regular Members and Business Partners.
