Love and Work: Maintaining Professional and Personal Boundaries
* Please note this is a Virtual Chapter Meeting - we will NOT be meeting in person this month *
“Love and Work are the cornerstones of our humanness.” – Sigmund Freud
Join psychotherapist and mediator, Dr. Richard Lyon, as he educates us on establishing and maintaining boundries.
As professionals, we aspire to fulfill standards of service that can lead us to ignore our own, or others’, human limitations. An unhealthy “need to be needed” or a “need not to be needed” can jeopardize physical, emotional and relational health. It is critical to recognize the stress symptoms of inadequate boundaries, and how to set healthy limits in order to thrive sustainably and holistically. The presentation will provide insights and tools to help you stand up for yourself without driving away others, and to help you accommodate to others without losing your self-respect.
