ADHD: A Personal and Professional Perspective of Working with a Professional Organizer

Kelly Lockwood, LMSW will present both research supported and anecdotal techniques, that every Professional Organizer should know when working with ADHD clients and their families. Kelly will draw on both her professional and personal experience working with a Professional Organizer.

About Our Presenter

Kelly Lockwood, LMSW  Specializing in Neurodiversity, Ms. Kelly Lockwood has been a psychotherapist for over 20 years. This includes a greater part of her caseload including individuals with ADHD. Ms. Lockwood’s passion began when she was diagnosed with ADHD. With proper medication, it was the first time she experienced her brain being, “on.” Medication is one of the tools to treatment, as well as psychotherapy and Professional Organizers amongst other support.

Since 2011, Ms. Lockwood has been a private practitioner. Her clinical experience along with research supported techniques contributed to her success in guiding ADHD clients to living a life worth celebrating!

Not coincidentally, Ms. Lockwood also began a long and fruitful business relationship with her professional organizer in 2011. She has found these services invaluable to succeeding in business and managing a home which includes one ADHD husband and two children also diagnosed with ADHD.

Ms. Lockwood enjoys being a Neurodiversity advocate, traveling, spending time with her dogs and ferrets and walking in the woods.

Meeting Cost
