Sticky Situations / Round Table Discussion

We're taking the June Meeting on the road to better serve our members throughout the state!  Be adventurous... meet us in Okemos!

Being in the service industry we are generous and compassionate people. This sometimes opens us up to vulnerable situations. Have you found yourself in a sticky situation and wondered how in the world you got there? Or wondered how in the world are you going to get out of it?

Join Betty Huotari as our moderator for a round table discussion on recognizing mental health issues in clients, dealing with, and "firing" difficult clients, and tips for working with clients with anxiety, depression, and OCD tendencies. Listen to a few of our NAPO chapter members share their sticky situations and learn how they navigated through them.  

Please note that for a round table discussion to be a success everyone must come without judgment and with respect for their peers. This is a forum in which ~ for the richest outcomes ~ we should feel free to be open and vulnerable. Tremendous learning can take place when we do this and become receptive to new ideas! As a reminder, we have all pledged to honor and uphold the NAPO Code of Ethics. 

About our Moderator

Betty Huotari is one of Southeast Michigan’s most experienced professional organizers, in business for over 15 years. She's earned respect not only from her clients, but from her colleagues who elected her president of NAPO Michigan from 2007-2010. Betty is a founding board member and had continued to serve, currently as Secretary. She is a member of The Golden Circle, an elite group of NAPO organizers who have been working as professionals for more than 5 years.

Due to the fact that we will be holding the June meeting in Okemos, in an intentional effort to bring as many organizers together in person from around the state, we will not be running Zoom.

Meeting Cost
