STATEWIDE RESOURCES

Below is a list of helpful resources related to organizing that are generally available across the state of Michigan. It is important to understand, however, that professional organizers have a very strong working knowledge of local resources and a diverse network of contacts and referral partners which they can draw upon to serve their clients. Many organizers include "Resources" pages on their websites, and the resources they list are often more local and specific to the community or region they serve. Thus, you may wish to visit the websites of professional organizers in your area to look for more information. You may also wish to search the internet for local resources using the name of your City/Town/County and, depending on what you're aiming to find, keywords such as:

  • Charity Accepting Donations, Donation Pickup, Thrift Store
  • Consignment Store, Re-Sale Store
  • Electronics Recycling, E-Recycling Event
  • Hazardous Waste Disposal, Toxics Disposal
  • Hoarding Task Force, Hoarding Support
  • Medical Waste Disposal, Medicine Take-Back Program
  • Moving & Storage, Portable Storage Container
  • Secure Shredding, Document Destruction, Media Destruction
