Digital Photo Organizing 101
Corporate Associate Member Marianne Behler will giving our December presentation.
Objectives
To give digital basics - including how to back up your devices - that we can use ourselves and with our clients.
We'll cover how to install and use Dropbox, a file hosting service that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, personal cloud services, and client software. Dropbox allows backup for all photos, documents, and videos from any device: computers, phones, and tablets - at all times.
Marianne will also show us how to create a core photo structure for all photos which is cross platform (can be used on both PCs and Macs). This structure can be migrated to any computer, if you're changing photo software, in case of a hard drive crash, or if a program becomes obsolete.
